Yes. K Family Dentistry of Pflugerville is accepting new patients of all ages. We're at 428 Grand Ave Pkwy, Suite 150, and see families from Pflugerville, Round Rock, Wells Branch, Hutto and Manor. Our practice is veteran-owned. Before opening the office, Dr. Janice Kim served as a U.S. Army Captain and active duty dentist.
What happens at the first visit?
Your first appointment is mostly about getting to know your mouth and answering your questions.
History and X-rays. We go over your medical and dental history and take digital X-rays.
Exam and screening. The doctor checks your teeth and gums and does an oral cancer screening.
Your plan. The doctor goes over what we found, shows you the X-rays and answers questions. If you need treatment, you'll get a written plan with the cost of each step.
Cleaning. Your hygienist cleans and polishes your teeth at your next visit, and checks for early cavities and gum problems.

Do you take my insurance?
We take most major PPO dental plans, including Aetna, Ameritas, BCBS, Delta Dental, GEHA, Guardian and MetLife. We file the claim for you and tell you what your plan should cover before we start treatment.
No insurance? Ask about our in-house dental membership plan, which covers routine cleanings, exams and X-rays and gives you savings on other treatment. We also take cash and credit cards and offer in-house payment plans.
How far is it from Round Rock?
We're on Grand Avenue Parkway in Pflugerville, a short drive from Round Rock. A lot of our patients from Round Rock and Hutto pick us because it's easier than driving into Austin.
